Why? Why? Why?,\u201d asked <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/celeb\/kelly-ripa\/\" data-analytics-trigger=\"article-body-link\">Kelly Ripa<\/a><\/strong>. \u201cI have a question. Where did you meet your husband?\u201d the first Asian-American quickly replied back. \u201cAt work,\u201d her husband <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/tag\/mark-consuelos\/\" data-analytics-trigger=\"article-body-link\">Mark Consuelos<\/a><\/strong> retorted. \u201cOn Tv?\u201d Jenn mentioned.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-4\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This conversation built up laughter in the crowd as the 53-year-old replied with many no\u2019s and continued with \u201cthose are not the same. We were both professionals. Are you acting on your show?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-5\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The duo TV hosts made their debut in 1996 after having worked together on the series <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All My Children. \u201cI didn\u2019t marry [Mark\u2019s character] Mateo Santos. I married Mark Consuelos,\u201d she added. <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This just made Jenn let out an awkward laugh.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe title=\"Jenn Tran on What It Means for Her to Be the First Asian American Bachelorette\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zLMv_LX7weI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-6\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the <a href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/2024\/07\/09\/season-28-of-the-bachelorette-recap\/\" data-analytics-trigger=\"article-body-link\">first aired episode<\/a>, Jenn met 25 men and sent home seven that same evening. She had specified before that she never had a good representation of what love was because of her parents relationship, \u201cI don\u2019t think I saw red flags very well because of the way I grew up and not having a role model of love\u2026I definitely dated men who weren\u2019t good for me because I just didn\u2019t understand what love really was. But through those bad experiences, I think I was able to really learn what I don\u2019t want and to take that as a lesson into what I now need in a relationship.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-7\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That night she gave her impression rose to Sam M, a general contractor from South Carolina, who had been on her mind the whole time.
