The Samsung Galaxy S24+<\/a> will be kept up to date with new OS releases for seven years and the first major update is getting closer. The phone was spotted running Android 15 for a Geekbench test, which also means that it was running the new One UI 7.0.<\/p>\n

Back in May, Samsung was already testing One UI 7 on the S24 Ultra<\/a>. Now, the two other S24 members are joining the fun. Tarun Vats, who spotted the Geekbench result, also reports<\/a> that Samsung has internal test builds for the small Galaxy S24<\/a>. They have the following version numbers: S928BXXU3BXG2, S928BOXM3BXG2.<\/p>\n

Samsung is developing One UI 7 behind closed doors for now, but a public beta can be expected in August or September. The Galaxy S24 trio will likely be the first to get it. Older S-series phones and eligible models from the other series will get it too, of course.<\/p>\n

Looking back to last year, the One UI 6 beta went public in August<\/a>, then the stable Android 14\/One UI 6 update was rolled out at the end of October<\/a>. We can expect a similar timeline for One UI 7.<\/p>\n
