Margot Robbie<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>is pregnant! The\u00a0Barbie\u00a0<\/em>star, 34, is expecting her first child, according to a report by\u00a0People<\/em><\/a>, published on Sunday, July 7. Margot is expecting the baby with her husband\u00a0Tom Ackerley<\/strong><\/a>, 34, who she\u2019s been married to since 2016. Neither has publicly commented on the pregnancy.<\/p>\n

While neither Margot nor Tom<\/a> have spoken about the pregnancy just yet,\u00a0People\u00a0<\/em>reported that multiple sources confirmed that she has a bun in the oven. Her baby bump was seen poking out of a white crop top while the pair were vacationing in Lake Como in new photos from\u00a0Daily Mail<\/em><\/a>.\u00a0The Wolf of Wall Street\u00a0<\/em>actress was wearing the white top under a black jacket and a skirt as she stood on a dock with Tom. The producer sported an all-brown outfit for the vacation outing.<\/p>\n

Like Margot, Tom also works in showbiz, and they actually first met while making a movie together in 2014. Tom is a producer, and he\u2019s gotten to collaborate with his wife on a variety of projects, including her hit films I, Tonya\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Barbie<\/em>. The pair began as friends, but their love eventually bloomed into a full-fledged relationship. The couple got married in December 2016, after keeping their engagement private.<\/p>\n

Margot has spoken about how supportive Tom is of her in a 2021 interview with\u00a0Mirror<\/em><\/a>. \u201cEvery time I do a movie, I turn to my husband and I\u2019m like, \u2018I don\u2019t think I can do this\u2019. He says something like, \u2018You do this every time. You\u2019ll be fine,’\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s certainly exciting news for Tom and Margot, the actress has also been very private about her plans for children in interviews over the years. Back in 2019, she admitted to being frustrated when interviewers asked her about plans to procreate shortly after getting married. \u201cI got married, and the first question in almost every interview is, \u2018Babies? When are you having one?\u2019 I\u2019m so angry that there\u2019s this social contract,\u201d she told\u00a0Radio Times<\/em><\/a>. \u201cYou\u2019re married, now have a baby. Don\u2019t presume. I\u2019ll do what I\u2019m going to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
