Only one brother has retired from the NFL, and with their podcast centered around the brother-duo dynamic, New Heights<\/em> will have to take a brief timeout.<\/p>\n Travis<\/strong><\/a> Kelce<\/strong><\/a>, 34, and Jason Kelce<\/strong><\/a>, 36, shared news of the break on Wednesday during their Season 2 finale episode. No one is quitting the podcast. And the brothers are planning on returning as soon as possible.<\/p>\n The brothers previously talked about why they started the podcast and how it is has been a wonderful journey to be on together. \u201cWe just started off by wanting to showcase our brotherhood and our similarities knowing that we\u2019re really two different walks of life.\u201d<\/p>\n Travis Kelce is still the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, and despite becoming the tight end in our hearts due to his active player status, he must be fully available for the Chiefs\u2019 training camp this summer.<\/p>\n Jason noted that the siblings will have \u201ca nice couple months off from podcasting\u201d this summer as Travis officially kicks off training camp. \u201cLet me tell ya, not enough time to do a podcast [in training camp],\u201d Jason said. \u201cEspecially the best podcast in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n Travis added, \u201cI\u2019m down to pick it up once we\u2019re done with training camp.\u201d<\/p>\n After consulting with the podcast\u2019s producer, Jason mentioned that the end of August could be a possibility.<\/p>\n Even though they won\u2019t be actively recording new material over the next couple of months, the brothers communicated that they won\u2019t go silent on fans.\u00a0In the meantime, Jason teased that fans should keep an eye on the podcast\u2019s social media channels because they\u2019ll be updating them and possibly drop never-before-seen footage of the show.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s terrifying if you ask me,\u201d Travis quipped. \u201cBut should be entertainment, nonetheless.\u201d<\/p>\n And while Travis is gearing up for training camp,\u00a0Jason is\u00a0preparing to join<\/a>\u00a0ESPN\u2019s\u00a0Monday Night Countdown<\/em>\u00a0after retiring from the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this year.<\/p>\n Ultimately, a break can be a good thing, especially if you want to reflect on what has been accomplished and what they can change.
