\u2018Yeah Glo!\u2019 rapper has been getting some praise from\u00a0the<\/em> Barbadian singer, actress, and businesswoman.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, 24-year-old GloRilla<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>posted a collection of photos onto her Instagram which ended with a screenshot of an old DM from Rihanna<\/strong><\/a>, 36, reading \u201cYou got all summer sis! I know dis wild hypocritical, but when the album drop? \ud83e\udd74\ud83e\udd37\ud83c\udfff\u200d\u2640\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u201d<\/p>\n

She captioned the post with: \u201cAyyeeeee.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans immediately agreed with Rihanna\u2019s \u201chypocritical\u201d comment, especially since Miss \u2018Work\u201ds last album, Anti, <\/em>was released in 2016.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, fans are always quelled by the general antics of the \u2018Love the Way You Lie\u2019 singer. On June 28, Rihanna shared a now-<\/a>viral video<\/a> of herself dancing and rapping to GloRilla\u2019s latest single, \u2018TGIF,\u2019 as A$AP Rocky, her partner and father of her two children, stood by watching.<\/p>\n

The Memphis rapper has yet to release her debut album, but Glo released her mixtape Ehhthang Ehhthang\u00a0<\/em>in April, which reached No. 4 on\u00a0Top R&B\/Hip-Hop Albums\u00a0and No. 18 on the\u00a0Billboard 200<\/a>. She performed \u2018TGIF\u2019 as well as \u2018Yeah Glo!\u2019 and \u2018Wannabe\u2019 with Megan Thee Stallion<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0at the 2024 BET Awards<\/a> on Sunday, where she was nominated for best female hip-hop artist and BET Her for \u2018Yeah Glo!\u2019<\/p>\n

In a\u00a0cover story with\u00a0Vibe<\/em><\/a> on Monday, she revealed that she was in the studio working on her debut album, which is expected later this year.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Yo] Gotti told me don\u2019t get comfortable. Keep your foot on the gas. The moment you let up, everything will just go downhill\u2026it\u2019s about consistency and who can have longevity. That\u2019s success,\u201d she told the outlet.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in June, Rihanna\u00a0told\u00a0<\/a>Entertainment Tonight<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>that she\u2019s\u00a0\u201cstarting over\u201d\u00a0with\u00a0R9.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that music, for me, is a new discovery\u2026.I\u2019m rediscovering things. I have been working on the album for so long that I kinda put all that stuff aside and now I\u2019m prepared to go back in the studio. I\u2019m gonna start \u2014 give me a second!\u201d<\/p>\n
