Lisa Vanderpump<\/strong><\/a> is mourning the death of her father, John Vanderpump<\/strong>. On Wednesday, July 3, the Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a> star confirmed the patriarch of her family passed away.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will miss you daddy \u2026Broken-hearted,\u201d Lisa, 63, wrote via Instagram<\/a> with a throwback picture of her father. \u201cRest in peace.\ud83d\ude4f\ud83d\udc97.\u201d<\/p>\n

Immediately after sharing the news, the Bravo star received condolences and supportive messages from fans and friends including Gretchen Rossi<\/strong>, James Kennedy<\/strong><\/a> and Garcelle Beauvais<\/strong><\/a>. \u201cSo sorry for your loss Lisa. Sending you lots of love \ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffb\ud83e\ude77,\u201d Scheana Shay<\/strong><\/a> wrote in the comments section. Real Housewives of New Jersey<\/i>\u2019s Teresa Giudice<\/b><\/a> added, \u201cSo sorry for your loss \ud83d\ude4f\ud83e\ude77.\u201d<\/p>\n

John and his late wife, Jean Vanderpump<\/strong>, lived in Dulwich, South London for much of their life. In October 2022, Lisa documented her hometown visit via social media writing<\/a>, \u201cAagh it\u2019s was so good to spend time with my daddy in England where he lives..Home now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lisa also previously praised her mother and father for giving her a positive childhood telling the Daily Mail<\/i><\/a>, \u201cMy parents gave me a great upbringing but they didn\u2019t give me anything financially, so I\u2019ve always had autonomy in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time Lisa has faced a difficult family death. In 2019, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/i> alum\u2019s mom died at the age of 84. Following Jean\u2019s death, Lisa took time off from filming Vanderpump Rules<\/i>.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe requested privacy at this time while she prepares for her trip back home to England to deal with the funeral,\u201d a friend told Us Weekly<\/i><\/a> at the time with a family member adding that Lisa was \u201cshocked and devastated.\u201d<\/p>\n

One year earlier, Lisa\u2019s brother, Mark Vanderpump<\/strong>, died by suicide following a battle with depression. \u201cTo lose my brother unexpectedly with no closure or conversation is like a relationship ripped out of your arms,\u201d Lisa told PEOPLE<\/i><\/a> in 2019. \u201cGrieving takes time. I never thought suicide would touch my life. For the people left behind, there are so many unanswered questions and feelings like, \u2018Could I have done this? Should I have done that?\u2019 It\u2019s very difficult to deal with.\u201d<\/p>\n
