Travis Kelce<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>is finally opening up about his debut performance<\/a> on his girlfriend\u00a0Taylor Swift\u2019s\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>\u201cEras Tour.\u201d The Kansas City Chiefs player, 34, discussed everything that he was thinking while performing during the third night at London\u2019s Wembley Stadium in June. Travis revealed that he was very worried about dropping his popstar girlfriend, 34, and luckily, he said that everything went well on his\u00a0New Heights\u00a0<\/em>podcast on Wednesday, July 3.<\/p>\n

Naturally, making your first appearance sharing the stage with Taylor is nerve-wracking, even if you\u2019re Travis. The Super Bowl champ explained that he knew that everything would go well. \u201cI was up there with three professionals, and you can do no wrong when Taylor\u2019s on stage, because she\u2019s absolutely\u2014she\u2019s the best,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Travis continued and revealed that he had a hilarious thought while he was carrying the \u201cShake It Off\u201d singer across the stage.\u00a0 \u201cThe one thing I told myself was \u2018Do not drop the baby. Do not drop Taylor on your way over this damn couch.\u2019 The golden rule was: do not drop Taylor. Get her to the couch safe,\u201d he said. \u201cI didn\u2019t disappoint Taylor, so that\u2019s all that really matters. \u2018Travis, do not f**k this up, Travis.\u2019 That was my number one goal: do not f**k this up. Do not drop Taylor. Do not f**k this up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Besides looking back on the actual moment, Travis also explained that he had initially brought up the idea of appearing as a joke, but he didn\u2019t rule out making another appearance<\/a>. \u201cI initially mentioned it to Tay. I was like, \u2018How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the\u00a01989<\/em> era?\u201d he said. \u201che started laughing and was like, \u2018Would you seriously be up for doing something like that?\u2019 And I was like, \u2018What?! I would love to do that. I\u2019ve seen the show enough, might as well put me to work here.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Of course, it\u2019s clear that Taylor totally approved of Travis\u2019 guest appearance<\/a> in an Instagram post after the show. \u201cI\u2019m still cracking up\/swooning over @killatrav\u2019s Eras Tour debut,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
