It also reveals that the digital version of the remastered game will be released on September 19 for all platforms.<\/p>\n<p>The company first gave<em> Dead Rising<\/em> an HD remaster back in 2016 for the PS4 and the Xbox One as part of the game&#8217;s 10th anniversary, but this version gives the world and its characters more textures and more realistic looking features. Frank West definitely looks more human with more natural-looking expressions in the Deluxe Remaster, while Madonna the poodle looks a lot more fluffy and dog-like. Capcom says this version is a &#8220;full graphical overhaul of the first game.&#8221; It used its own video game engine called RE Engine to rework the title&#8217;s graphics, including its environments and backgrounds.<\/p>\n<div class=\"caas-iframe-wrapper\" data-embed-anchor=\"d5d86cf9-64f2-54e1-881b-9d2f0de32957\">\n<div class=\"caas-iframe youtube\" style=\"padding-bottom:56%\" data-type=\"youtube\">\n<blockquote data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FIAiUWhxmrs?rel=0\" scrolling=\"no\"><p><noscript><iframe title=\"Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster - Announcement Trailer\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FIAiUWhxmrs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/noscript><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The remaster is fully voiced, but West sounds noticeably different in the trailer compared to the older versions. In a <a data-i13n=\"cpos:2;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/FrankByDaylight\/status\/1806716618699059583\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:text conversation;cpos:2;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">text conversation<\/a> with @FrankByDaylight on X\/Twitter, original voice actor TJ Rotolo said he&#8217;s <a data-i13n=\"cpos:3;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/comicbook.com\/gaming\/news\/dead-rising-remaster-frank-west-tj-rotolo\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:not reprising his role;cpos:3;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">not reprising his role<\/a> in the remake because Capcom didn&#8217;t invite him back for the project.
