Like my throat was hurting. I had just gone on like this trip. And they were like, \u2018Well, we kind of have a deadline. Like, if you want to be on this song you kind of got to get it in by like, this day\u2019 It was like in a couple of days and I was like alright \u2013 I\u2019ll give it a shot. So I go to the studio and I\u2019m like man my voice is not cooperating and I was like I hope this doesn\u2019t really suck\u2026 But I got through the song and I did it and I was like alright I feel pretty good about that ,\u201d she recalled the story of recording the song during an interview on the <\/span>Today<\/span><\/i><\/a> show.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI left the studio, and I went to the doctor immediately and I had strep. And I like, texted like the engineer. I was like, \u2018I\u2019m so sorry, I had strep, and I was just all up in your space\u2019,\u201d she continued.<\/span><\/p>\n The \u201cRainbow\u201d singer shared other snaps of her two-piece denim set that were accompanied with matching cowboy boots and silver hoop earrings via an <\/span>Instagram post<\/span><\/a> captioned, \u201cBaby\u2019s got her blue jeans on.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Prior to this Instagram carousel, she <\/span>posted a video<\/span><\/a> of herself strutting down the street to \u201cThese Boots Are Made For Walkin\u2019\u201d by Nancy Sinatra.<\/span><\/p>\n This performance comes months after she announced the release of her album <\/span>Deeper Well.<\/span><\/i> \u201cMy new album, Deeper Well, is out now.
