Joseph Quinn<\/a> <\/strong>revealed he was starstruck when meeting Taylor Swift<\/a> <\/strong>during an interview on \u201cHappy Sad Confused\u201d podcast released on Monday, July 1.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI met <\/span>Taylor Swift once and I said, \u2018You\u2019re Taylor Swift,\u2019\u2026And she was very funny and said something nice about the show and I said, \u2018Oh, thanks! You are Taylor Swift\u2019,\u201d the 30-year-old actor recalled when asked about embarrassing moments he has come across after starring in <\/span>Stranger Things <\/span><\/i>season four as Eddie Munson.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the moment he felt self-concious about his reaction and expressed, \u201cI meant it as a compliment and it is definitely a compliment. But I remember thinking at the time, \u2018That was f\u2013king stupid.\u2019 But she was very good-humored about it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Stanger Things <\/span><\/i><\/a>actor rose to fame as he played the leader of the \u2018Hellfire Club\u2019 which was killed off towards the end of seaon four. Despite the finale outcome, many fans speculate he will reprise his role in season five.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI might have that feeling too\u2026or maybe I don\u2019t. Who knows? Maybe I do,\u201d he hinted during an interview with Rachel Smith for <\/span>Entertainment Tonight<\/span><\/i><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aside from the sci-fi world, the Eddie Munson actor recently starred in <\/span>A Quiet Place Day One <\/span><\/i>which released in theatres on Friday, June 28. His co-star in this film Lupita Nyong\u2019o<\/a><\/strong> also has been speaking about the Eras headliner.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During an episode of \u201cHot Ones<\/a>\u201d she mentioned how she asked Taylor for permission to play \u201cShake It Off\u201d in <\/span>Little Monsters<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I read the script for Little Monsters [and saw] that song and what it meant to Miss Caroline and to the kindergartners, [it] meant a lot to me that I was going to get to play it on the ukulele and everything,\u201d 41-year-old actress mentioned during an episode of \u201cHot Ones.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen they told me, \u2018No, we can\u2019t get the rights,\u2019 I decided, \u2018OK. I\u2019m going to go, I\u2019m going to make a pitch,\u2019\u2026I\u2019m going to let Taylor know what this song means to me, and I told her that story about how it lifted me from an almost-depression, and the next thing I knew, it was cleared. I haven\u2019t actually seen her since to thank her for it,\u201d she added.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
