Irish actor Paul Mescal<\/strong><\/a>, 28, has been linked to several famous actors recently, and now speculation surrounds him and American singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams<\/strong><\/a>, 24. On Sunday, TMZ<\/a><\/em> shared photos of the Normal People<\/em> actor and the singer sitting across from each other in a London restaurant, laughing over drinks and sharing plates. At one point, it even looks like Mescal reaches over to caress Abrams\u2019 face.<\/p>\n As recently as last month, there were dating rumors involving Natalie Portman<\/strong><\/a>, 43, and Ayo Edebiri<\/strong><\/a>, 28, with Mescal. But sources quickly set the record straight, clarifying that his relationships with both actresses are platonic. In fact, Natalie and Paul have built quite a friendship and have now known each other for a while. Similarly, sources revealed that he and Edebiri are just good friends.<\/p>\n Ultimately, it might be difficult to get direct confirmation from Mescal as he made a vow (in Vanity Fair<\/a><\/em>) to never speak about his personal life in the public following his split from Phoebe Bridgers<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Mescal explained, \u201cSometimes I can drown [the public prodding] out and then other times it makes me really mad and upset. People are going to write and say things because there\u2019s a certain interest with any person who\u2019s in the public eye in how that person lives their life, and who they\u2019re living up with, and what they\u2019re doing and how they\u2019re going about doing it. \u201c<\/p>\n \u201cBut the temptation still exists to be like, \u2018Shut the f\u2014 up. This is my life. This is what\u2019s going on.
