Rene\u00e9 Rapp<\/a><\/strong> hinted at a new album during an episode of Instagram\u2019s \u201cClose Friends Only\u201d podcast<\/a> with actress Rachel Sennott<\/strong> that was released on Thursday, June 27.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c[Age] 23 to 24 has been a massive difference for me\u2026It\u2019s [the album] also about, like, a reflection on my, like, 23rd year specifically,\u201d shared the 24-year-old \u201cNot My Fault\u201d singer.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c23 is f*****g crazy. It\u2019s so crazy. It was like the most insane year of my life,\u201d chimed in the 28-year-old actress.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the episode, the <\/span>Mean Girls <\/a><\/span><\/i>musical<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>actress gave insight into the crazy year that inspired her upcoming record, \u201cIt was like the most insane year of my life. But it\u2019s also, like, you kind of have a crazy glow-up that year because you shed everything. You\u2019re in constant chaos. And then what\u2019s really crazy is when you hit the Saturn return, which is what I\u2019m at right now. It starts at 27. Things you thought you learned at 23 come back around.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

This album announcement follows the release of <\/span>Snow Angel <\/span><\/i>in 2023 which consisted of 16 songs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aside from music talk, the duo updated themselves on whether they have \u201cfinstas\u201d \u2013 private Instagram accounts. \u201cIt\u2019s kind of old and it feels sort of out of use, kind of\u2026 I used to post like tea. I used to post like really crazy s**t\u00a0 on my insta and then there was a snake.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cI have a public finsta that I love posting on so much. All of like my angry moments, we really come out there,\u201d Rene\u00e9 added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although the two got to give insight on their Hollywood lives and current projects, it made it relatable\u2014 in which the podcast was specifically designed to connect both the artist and audience.\u00a0 As stated, by Eshan Ponnadurai, VP and global head of marketing for Instagram parent company Meta, the show was \u201cInspired by our Close Friends feature, the podcast brings together some of culture\u2019s most iconic celebrities and creators to highlight the ways people connect and get creative on Instagram in<\/span> a fun and unfiltered look into each duo\u2019s lives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
