Kourtney Kardashian<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>45, has previously said that she approaches parenting using the attachment style. This style dictates that the parents and the infants should maintain a strong level of closeness<\/a> \u2013 both in terms of emotional responsiveness and physical touch.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIn many different cultures, women don\u2019t leave the house after having a baby for 40 days to let your body have that time to heal,\u201d Kourtney shared during the June 27 episode of\u00a0The Kardashians<\/em><\/a>. \u201cAnd beyond that, I\u2019m really into attachment parenting. I really don\u2019t separate from him.\u201d<\/p>\n Sharing that she\u2019s created a \u201cblissful baby bubble\u201d at home for herself and Rocky, the now mom of 4 added, \u201cI feel like my time is dedicated to taking care of my baby and bonding with him.\u201d<\/p>\n Though attachment parenting intends to create secure emotional bonds between mother and baby that will allow the child to flourish in future relationships, it isn\u2019t without its criticisms. Some have said this parenting style leads to overdependent children or stressed parents who feel they have to meet every single want of their child.<\/p>\n Kourtney\u2019s sister, 43-year-old Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a>, actually admitted that she wished she could be more \u201cstrict\u201d with her children like her sister Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian<\/strong><\/a>, 40.<\/p>\n Despite varying parenting styles among the three sisters and mothers, Kourtney mentioned in a 2014 interview with Redbook magazine<\/a> that she \u201cdidn\u2019t plan\u201d to adopt an attachment parenting style but that it \u201ccame naturally\u201d to her.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I had Mason, I just felt really attached to him and wanted to bring him everywhere,\u201d Kourtney said. \u201cHe ended up sleeping with me, and I breastfed for 14 months.\u201d Kourtney co-slept with Mason until he was seven and was still co-sleeping with daughter Penelope by the time she was ten, Vogue<\/a><\/em> reported in 2023.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
