It&#8217;s been described as a spiritual successor to that series and was previously scheduled to arrive in late 2024. However, publisher Don&#8217;t Nod has opted to delay <em>Lost Records: Bloom &amp; Rage<\/em> and release it in early 2025 instead.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, the delay is in large part due to a new Life is Strange <a data-i13n=\"cpos:2;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/gaming\/\" data-ylk=\"slk:game;cpos:2;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"><\/a> from another studio. <a data-i13n=\"cpos:3;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/were-officially-getting-another-life-is-strange-game-this-fall-193230167.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Life is Strange: Double Exposure;cpos:3;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"><em><\/em><\/a> marks the return of the original game&#8217;s protagonist Max Caulfield. It gives fans plenty of time to experience both games without too much overlap.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, Don&#8217;t Nod reckons that <em>Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden<\/em>, a surprisingly emotional action RPG from earlier this year that <a data-i13n=\"cpos:9;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/krisholt\/2024\/02\/13\/banishers-ghosts-of-new-eden-review-a-beautiful-dark-love-story-for-valentines-day\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:I enjoyed quite a bit;cpos:9;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"><\/a>, will boost its bottom line, especially in the long term.
