Never in their wildest dreams did Swifties imagine a Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> and Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a>-inspired romance movie, but that blank space has been filled. Shortly after the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end made his Eras Tour<\/em> appearance<\/a> earlier this month, the NFL and Hallmark announced that they are producing a romance movie, and multiple outlets are crediting Taylor, 34, and Travis\u2019 relationship as the inspiration behind the film.<\/p>\n

What Is the Title of the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Movie?<\/h2>\n

According to a press release<\/a> from the Chiefs, the title of the film will be Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story<\/em>. Hallmark released a statement about the cinematic collaboration with the NFL.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith Hallmark and the Kansas City Chiefs both homegrown, rooted in values, tradition and community, there is a special alchemy between these two iconic organizations,\u201d Darren Abbott, Chief Brand Officer of Hallmark, said. \u201cBy blending the warmth of Hallmark storytelling with the excitement of professional football, we are thrilled to give audiences a front-row seat to this community\u2019s spirit, rich traditions and passionate fans that define Kansas City, all wrapped up in the comforting and uplifting Hallmark way.\u201d<\/p>\n

The president of the Chiefs, Mark Donovan, also chimed in, noting that they are \u201chonored to partner with Hallmark\u201d on this production.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a club, we pride ourselves on exploring new ways to grow our brand, as well as connect with new audiences,\u201d Mark added. \u201cThis partnership unites two passionate fanbases and gives us an opportunity to show Chiefs Kingdom\u2019s energy and tradition on one of the most-watched channels during the holiday season.\u201d<\/p>\n

What Is the Film About?<\/h2>\n

The official synopsis of Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story<\/em> focuses on Alana Higman, who \u201cis sure that her family\u2019s lifelong history as Kansas City Chiefs superfans makes them a frontrunner to win the team\u2019s \u2018Fan of the Year\u2019 contest.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDerrick, Director of Fan Engagement, is tasked with evaluating how Alana and her family stack up against the other two finalists,\u201d the synopsis reads. \u201cAs the pair spends time together, it\u2019s clear there\u2019s a spark between them but when her grandfather\u2019s vintage Chiefs, good luck winter hat goes missing, Alana begins to doubt everything she believed about fate, destiny and even questions her future with Derrick \u2013 unless, that is, a little Christmas magic can throw a Hail Mary.\u201d<\/p>\n

Who Is in the Cast?<\/h2>\n

Alana will be played by actress Hunter King<\/strong>, who was seen in films such as The Santa Summit<\/em> and Two Scoops of Italy. Shifting Gears<\/em> star Tyler Hynes will be playing Derrick. Better Call Saul<\/em><\/a> and Young Sheldon<\/em><\/a> alum Ed Begley Jr.<\/strong> will be playing the role of Alana\u2019s grandfather.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
