Celine Dion<\/a> <\/strong>went through a scary seizure that was filmed during her new documentary <\/span>I Am: Celine Dion<\/span><\/i> all while battling through Stiff Person Syndrome.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The 56-year-old singer was documented at a doctor\u2019s evaluation when she started to have seizure-like symptoms while laying on the examination bed. The \u201cMy Heart Will Go On\u201d singer was seen in a stiff posture and seemd in an uncomfortable state4 as she was groaning in pain.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cPart of the disease is that as soon as you go into a contraction, sometimes \u2026 the signal to release it, doesn\u2019t understand, so it ends up just staying in a contracted position,\u201d shared Terrill Lobo, a sports medicine therapist. As he assists Celine, she is later showcased crying and embarrassed by the whole situation.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know how to express it, like, it\u2019s just \u2026 you know, like, to not have control of yourself?\u201d the \u201cIt\u2019s All Coming Back to Me Now\u201d recalled the horrific moment.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0She went on to ask \u201cWell, what am I gonna do?\u2026 If I can\u2019t get stimulated by what I love, and then I\u2019m gonna go onstage and, like, you\u2019re gonna put the pulse oximeter on me and you\u2019re gonna turn me on my back?\u201d Terrill responded back with \u201cIt\u2019s scary, I know. It\u2019s hard. This is not the end of your journey \u2014 we all know that. But this is always that step on that journey.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

This health update comes after she revealed her diagnosis in December 2022. \u201cI have been diagnosed with a very rare neurological disorder, and I wasn\u2019t ready to say anything before, but I\u2019m ready now.\u201d Since the announcement, she has always been very vocal about the disease and has tried to use her platform to educate hence why she gave us an insight to how her world is like in the new documentary.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not hard to do a show, you know? It\u2019s hard to cancel a show\u2026I\u2019m working hard every day but I have to admit, it\u2019s been a struggle. I miss it so much, the people, I miss them. If I can\u2019t run, I\u2019ll walk. If I can\u2019t walk, I\u2019ll crawl. But I won\u2019t stop,\u201d admitted the \u201cIt\u2019s All Coming Back to Me Now\u201d hitmaker said in the documentary.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
