Shanna Moakler<\/a><\/strong> revealed that she gets many questions from followers about her kids and that led to many believing she is a \u201cdeadbeat mom\u201dduring an interview with <\/span>People <\/span><\/i>released on Tuesday, June 25.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cPeople are like, \u2018Why do your kids live with Travis?\u2019 So I would gladly set the record straight\u2026I have never not been involved in my children\u2019s lives. I\u2019ve always had shared custody,\u201d the 49-year-old expressed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shanna shares Landon<\/a> <\/strong>and Alabama Barker<\/a><\/strong> with Travis Barker<\/a><\/strong>, and in addition the Blink-182 member is a father figure to her other daughter Atiana De La Hoya<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 whom she shared with Oscar De La Hoya<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The model felt as if many misunderstood her while the show <\/span>Meet The Barkers <\/span><\/i>was on air because she was captured sleeping a lot. \u201cI was up all night rocking three babies under the age of five\u201d she clarified. She added how those moments should \u201cnot dictate or narrate who I am as a mother.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She recalled how during the pandemic was really the only time she was away from the kids because they stayed with their dad due to him having a bigger home to stay in. \u201cDuring COVID, they stayed with him because he has a massive home and it\u2019s nicer\u2026He has a mega-mansion. He has a movie theater, he has golf carts. He has all those things\u2026I didn\u2019t have them as much because of COVID, when we were all in lockdown\u2026So that was the only time that I wasn\u2019t as present, but I\u2019ve always been present in my children\u2019s life. I never understand it because there\u2019s a whole social media history of me with my children, active in my children\u2019s lives.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite tying the knot in 2002 and welcoming their children into the world, they ended their marriage and are now co-parenting.\u00a0 During an interview on SiriusXM\u2019s \u201cJeff Lewis Live\u201d she shared, \u201cWe co-parent, you know if there\u2019s any issues with our kids\u2026 that\u2019s one thing we\u2019ll communicate but otherwise, we don\u2019t really have a friendship.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Travis is now wedded to Kourtney Kardashian<\/a><\/strong> and recently welcomed baby Rocky in which Shanna shared that her kids love. Although many think she is angry she noted, \u201cI\u2019m happy for him\u2014 He\u2019s in a good place. The kids love the new baby Rocky\u2026 You know my daughter\u2019s obsessed with him and sends me cute pictures and stuff.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Though \u201cAt the end of the day, whether the public and the media can say whatever they want to say about me as a person or decisions I\u2019ve made, my relationships when it comes to me as a mother I don\u2019t give five f***ks what anyone says or thinks. I only care about my children, my relationship with my children.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
