One of the biggest icons of the 70s has met perhaps the biggest icon of 2024.\u00a0Elton John<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>shared a photo with rising singer\u00a0Chappell Roan<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>on Monday, June 24. The \u201cFuneral for a Friend\u201d rocker, 77, was seated as he had his arm around Chappell, 26. In the caption, he raved about how he\u2019s a fan of the singer, whose real name is\u00a0Kayleigh Rose Amstutz<\/strong>. \u201cLove her, love her, love her,\u201d he wrote along with rocket, heart, and rainbow emojis.<\/p>\n

In the shot, Elont was wearing a blue jumpsuit, plus some red sneakers and a pair of rose-tinted glasses. Chappell was wearing\u00a0 black sweater and long-skirt, which really made her now-iconic red hair pop. It was a much more laidback look than the extravagant, eye-catching outfits<\/a> that she\u2019s been rocking during her performances.<\/p>\n

In the caption, Elton revealed that he and the \u201cRed Wine Supernova\u201d singer had a wonderful night having dinner and getting to know each other. \u201cThe BEST evening of pizza and outrageous laughter with the fiercely fabulous @chappellroan,\u201d he wrote in the caption.<\/p>\n

Elton isn\u2019t the only celeb who\u2019s recently shown love to Chappell. Earlier in June,\u00a0Kacey Musgraves\u00a0<\/strong>shared a photo taken with the \u201cCasual\u201d singer taken backstage at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Tennessee. It\u2019s incredibly fitting as Chappell has declared herself\u00a0 \u201cYour\u00a0 favorite artist\u2019s favorite artist.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chappell has also opened up about her sensational rise in the past few months in a recent TikTok video. She admitted that so many of the artists she\u2019s been a fan of have reached out to her amid her rise. \u201cI\u2019m reflecting on my life and the past couple weeks have been cuckoo, but what\u2019s so reassuring and so f**king sick is the pop girls that you and I have loved our whole lives or have been like f**king stans of the past two or three years, a lot of them have reached out and are so supportive and girl\u2019s girls,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s so sick to know that the girls have really\u2014they\u2019re really supporting each other in the pop industry to have people I look up to reach out and offer a friend or help. I don\u2019t know. It\u2019s just sick, and it makes me believe in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
