Some fans believe that\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>subtly responded to a comment that\u00a0Dave Grohl<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>made about her during a concert at her Wembley show in London on Sunday, June 23. The comment came as the popstar, 34, shouted out her band in the middle of her \u201cEras Tour\u201d concert on the last night of her run of shows in London.<\/p>\n

During the\u00a0folklore\/evermore <\/em>portion of her set, Taylor gave a special thanks on behalf of \u201cevery single one of my band members, [and] every single one of our crew.\u201d Taylor shouted out the band, and she made a point of stating that they\u2019re going to be \u201cplaying live\u201d for the whole concert, as she thanked the crowd for their response. \u201cMy band, who\u2019s going to be playing live for three-and-a-half hours tonight, they deserve this so much, and so does every one of my fellow performers, and you just gave that to us so generously, and we will never forget it,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Granted, Taylor didn\u2019t make any specific emphasis to the \u201clive\u201d comment, and it\u2019s not clear if she was actually responding, or if she was simply shouting out the band. The comment came a day after the Foo Fighters singer and guitarist, 55, mentioned the\u00a0Red\u00a0<\/em>popstar during their own show. \u201cYou don\u2019t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift,\u201d he told the audience. \u201cWe like to call our tour, \u2018The Errors Tour.\u2019 I feel like we\u2019ve had more than a few eras, and more than a few f**king errors as well. Just a couple. That\u2019s because we actually play live. What? Just saying. You guys like live, raw rock and roll music, right?\u201d<\/p>\n

While some Swifties saw Dave\u2019s comment as taking a shot at Taylor, it also appeared to be in jest. The Nirvana drummer has publicly praised Taylor a few times in the past. Some people online have pointed out that Dave\u2019s daughter\u00a0Violet Grohl\u00a0<\/strong>did face backlash from Taylor\u2019s fans after she publicly called out the singer over her private jet usage, per\u00a0Daily Beast<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>\u201cWhy can\u2019t taylor swift just drive like everyone else,\u201d she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
