The exact amount they made is unclear; the rapper initially wrote on <a data-i13n=\"elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:1;pos:1\" class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C8fW3MrO46P\/?hl=en&amp;img_index=1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Instagram;elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:1;pos:1;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">Instagram<\/a> that \u201cwhoever did this made $300,000,000 in 30 minutes\u201d (per <a data-i13n=\"elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:2;pos:1\" class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/rapper-50-cent-x-hacker-memecoin-rug-pull-scam\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Cointelegraph;elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:2;pos:1;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\"><em>Cointelegraph<\/em><\/a>), but the post has since been edited to say $3,000,000 as of this afternoon. I will not make a <em>Get Rich or Die Tryin\u2019<\/em> pun, I will <em>not<\/em> make a <em>Get Rich or Die Tryin\u2019<\/em> pun&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The scammers used 50 Cent\u2019s X account and website, Thisis50, to push $GUNIT. \u201cMy Twitter &amp; Thisis 50.com was hacked I have no association with this Crypto,\u201d 50 Cent wrote in an Instagram post containing screenshots of the unfolding mess. \u201cTwitter worked quickly to lock my account back down,\u201d he added. His X account and Thisis50.com still appear to be unavailable.
