Tyler, the Creator<\/strong><\/a> has canceled his upcoming sets at Lollapalooza and Outside Lands. The 33-year-old rapper broke the news on Thursday, June 20, via X<\/a> (formerly known as Twitter), asking fans to \u201cplease, please forgive\u201d him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hate saying this, but I have to cancel lollapalooza and outside lands,\u201d Tyler tweeted that day. \u201ci made a commitment that i can no longer keep, and that bums me out knowing how excited folks were. that is not sexy at all.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the end of his statement, Tyler wrote, \u201cplease please forgive me or call me names when you see me in person [sic]. love.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Lollapalooza followed up on Tyler\u2019s announcement, revealing that he was replaced by Megan Thee Stallion<\/strong><\/a>. She will be performing on Thursday, August 1, in Chicago.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately, Tyler, the Creator will not be able to perform this year,\u201d the festival tweeted, before adding, \u201cSee @theestallion headline Lolla on Thursday, August 1st!\u201d<\/p>\n

In Outside Lands\u2019 announcement, the festival noted that Tyler canceled his set due to \u201cpersonal reasons,\u201d and Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong> <\/a>will be replacing him on Saturday, August 10, in San Francisco\u2019s Golden Gate Park.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited to announce that [Sabrina Carpenter] \u00a0will now headline the Lands End stage on Saturday, August 10th!\u201d Outside Lands tweeted. \u201cDue to personal reasons, Tyler, the Creator will no longer be performing at Outside Lands.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s still unclear what caused Tyler to cancel his upcoming performances. Just one day prior, he surprised crowds at Kendrick Lamar<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s The Pop Out: Ken & Friends concert in Los Angeles on Juneteenth.<\/p>\n

The \u201cJuggernaut\u201d artist later took to X to thank fans, tweeting, \u201cIt was beautiful to see the whole city come together last night. my first raps were written at home off crenshaw dr and 82nd, right down the street from the fourm [sic]. thank you. shoutout FREE LUNCH.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Tyler headlined Coachella, where he performed music from his albums, including Goblin, Wolf, Flower Boy<\/em> and Igor<\/em>. He also brought several guests on stage, such as A$AP Rocky<\/strong><\/a> and Charlie Wilson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
