This is the story of Daniel and Seven Marie Jacobs, otherwise known as Six and Daniel Wesley. These two young people who seem to understand each other because they hated people and spent their fifth period of school in a maintenance closet. I truly enjoyed this story. From the beginning, I knew it was going to be truly a great read and it did not disappoint. I would recommend this book to anyone. It was well written and a different high school drama book.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cThis book is about Julia, a romance writer in Vegas at a convention, and Nate, a divorce lawyer in Vegas for his friend\u2019s wedding, who wake up in bed together after a wild and crazy night with no memories. Nate and Julia both are trying to get through heartbreak and both take an immediate disliking to each other. Julia and her friends get together with Nate and his friends during their last night of partying. The rest of the book is about them trying to remember what they did in Vegas last night before Nate\u2019s friend\u2019s wedding. This book was so hilarious between Julia\u2019s nerdy internal monologues, Nate\u2019s moodiness, and their drunken adventurers. I loved the secondary characters of Julia\u2019s friends, Meredith and Shanna, and Nate\u2019s friends, Mike, Tyler, and Stacey.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI thought that Girl Alone by Blake Pierce was a thrilling book with a likeable protagonist. It really held my interest so that I didn\u2019t want to put it down when I was reading it. For that I would have given it five stars as it had everything I love in a book.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cThis book grabbed me from the start. I felt like part of the investigation into the kidnappings and was trying to figure out those involved, what clues I missed, and what the Detectives missed. You want to call the station and add things to be checked out. It also makes you question your own safety and how you need to be more aware. I started this book and never stopped reading until I finished it. I highly recommend this book and am going to read more by this author.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cThese first three books in The Dragon Blood series were wonderful. From the world and character building to the connectedness of each book to the next, these were all enjoyable reads. If you are looking for a series with well-rounded characters, an interesting world setting, nicely done twists and turns, some magic, and some romance, then you should read these books. It\u2019s a book about self-discovery, righteousness, trust, finding a family, life choices, and love at first sight. It has some spicy scenes and lots of banter between the main characters. It also had a lot of great side characters that could star in their own stories. Meghan has a writing style that draws you into her world and keeps you there until the last word is read. This is a stand-alone in a series.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cA very different way of writing a detective story with 2 sisters on the same side but with 2 entirely different views in law enforcement. Add to that a storyline that is so unusual, That it kept me guessing till the very end!
