The Good Will Hunting<\/em> duo is coming back to the big screen! Matt Damon<\/strong> <\/a>and Ben Affleck<\/strong> <\/a>are expected to reunite in the upcoming crime thriller movie RIP<\/em>. They will also reportedly co-produce the movie under their Artists Equity production company, per The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n Last year, the dynamic duo \u2014 who have been best friends since the beginning of their acting careers \u2014 appeared in the sports movie Air<\/em>, based on the origin of Air Jordan. While Ben, 51, and Matt, 53, have appeared in countless films together, their most popular projects include Good Will Hunting<\/em> and The Last Duel<\/em>.<\/p>\n Since they\u2019ve developed a strong friendship and working relationship over the past 30 years, Matt and Ben\u2019s banter has become a fan-favorite. After taking home the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for 1997\u2019s Good Will Hunting<\/em>, the besties forged their own paths as actors, while Ben also took on the role of director for several projects.<\/p>\n While promoting Air<\/em> last year, the Oscar winners discussed their partnership in multiple interviews.<\/p>\n According to the Associated Press<\/a>, Matt recalled writing The Last Duel<\/em> with Ben and noted, \u201cWe came out of that experience going, \u2018Why aren\u2019t we doing this more often?\u2019 And getting into your 50s you just go: If we don\u2019t make it a priority, it\u2019s just not going to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n Ben also explained the goal with their banner, Artists Equity, pointing out they want to help \u201crecognize the artists.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe believe there are a lot of really meaningful artists on the crew who are underappreciated and undervalued and make a huge difference in the quality of the experience in a film,\u201d the Argo<\/em> director said. \u201cWe want to sort of take the approach taken towards Michael Jordan<\/strong>, which is to recognize the artists and say, \u2018You\u2019re the ones who deserve to be compensated for this.
