Both will open sometime next year.<\/p>\n<p><a data-i13n=\"cpos:2;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/netflix-to-open-branded-retail-stores-for-some-reason-184331296.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Netflix House;cpos:2;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"><\/a> is the streaming giant\u2019s first attempt at a brick-and-mortar retail business. The Dallas and King of Prussia locations will offer dining, live events and interactive sets and experiences based on some of Netflix\u2019s most popular shows and movies.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cexperiential entertainment venue\u201d will let fans of shows like <em>Bridgerton<\/em>, <em>Money Heist<\/em>, <em>Stranger Things<\/em> and <em>Squid Game<\/em> interact with some of its most iconic scenes and settings. The announcement promises that guests can do things like \u201cwaltzing with your partner to an orchestral cover of a Taylor Swift song on a replication of the <em>Bridgerton <\/em>set.\u201d Then you can enter another area of Netflix House and \u201ccompete in the Glass Bridge challenge from <em>Squid Game<\/em>\u201d presumably without experiencing a really messy death in the end.<\/p>\n<p>Presumably, no high concept entertainment experience is complete without taking a forced path through a gift shop. You can pick up special merchandise like a Hellfire Club T-shirt, a copy of <em>The Queen\u2019s Gambit <\/em>board game or an \u201cI survived a rich guy\u2019s game of death\u201d coffee mug from <em>Squid Game<\/em>.
