Today it&#8217;s finally happened. The Y28 4G got official in Singapore, joining the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/vivo_y28-12860.php\">5G-capable Y28<\/a>, which launched in January, in the company&#8217;s roster. Soon there will be an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/vivo_y28s_5g_surfaces_in_geekbench_ahead_of_launch-news-63244.php\">Y28s 5G<\/a> too, but let&#8217;s not worry about that right now.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"907\" src=\"https:\/\/fdn.gsmarena.com\/imgroot\/news\/24\/06\/vivo-y28-4g-official\/inline\/-1200\/gsmarena_002.jpg\" alt=\"vivo Y28 4G makes its debut with 6,000 mAh battery, Helio G85 SoC\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The Y28 4G is powered by MediaTek&#8217;s Helio G85 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. It has a 6.68-inch 720&#215;1608 LCD touchscreen with a 90 Hz refresh rate and 1,000-nit peak brightness, dual stereo speakers, a 50 MP main rear camera with a 2 MP depth sensor next to it, an 8 MP selfie snapper, and support for 44W wired charging for the aforementioned 6,000 mAh battery. The Y28 also has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"749\" src=\"https:\/\/fdn.gsmarena.com\/imgroot\/news\/24\/06\/vivo-y28-4g-official\/inline\/-1200\/gsmarena_001.jpg\" alt=\"vivo Y28 4G makes its debut with 6,000 mAh battery, Helio G85 SoC\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The phone runs Android 14 of course, with vivo&#8217;s Funtouch OS 14 on top. It is offered in Singapore in Agate Green and Gleaming Orange for SGD 269, which right now translates into approximately $199 or \u20ac185.
