At Hip2Save, we love<\/em> Amazon Prime Day<\/a>. That said, we\u2019re not ignoring the logic behind ditching at least certain<\/em> aspects of it. Here are some reasons why Amazon Prime Day 2024 might not be totally worth it.<\/p>\n

Prime Day 2024 will take place in July. <\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Some things just shouldn\u2019t be shopped for in July.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Are Prime Day deals worth it? Not always. It\u2019s important to know the best times to shop for items year-round<\/a>. From food to baby products to home goods & even baking goods \u2013 there\u2019s a science behind when to buy and stock up to get the best prices possible.<\/p>\n

Luckily for us, Amazon Prime Day is just about halfway to Christmas<\/a> so you might be starting to plan for the bigger purchases we expect to see mega sales on this year, such as savings on Amazon devices<\/a> and smart TVs<\/a>!<\/p>\n

On the flip side, this might mean we need to practice patience for the best deals closer to Black Friday<\/a> on items we might be trying to score for Christmas. Typically, top wish list items like toys, clothing, and some electronics will have the most anticipated sales a month later this year. But only time will tell!<\/em><\/p>\n\n

2. Walmart is running a sale that starts even earlier than Prime Day.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In previous years, Walmart<\/a> has trumped all the other retailers with their epic Walmart+ Week sales during the summer. In fact, last year their sale was twice as long and started even earlier than Amazon Prime Day. \ud83d\ude31<\/p>\n

This year Walmart\u2019s sale will run from June 17th \u2013 23rd with hot deals and savings exclusively for its members! That means if you want to access deals, you\u2019ll want to sign up for a membership ASAP!<\/p>\n
