Ariana Grande<\/strong><\/a> broke her silence about the allegations made in Quiet on Set<\/em><\/a>. During an appearance on Penn Badgley<\/a>\u2018<\/strong>s \u201cPodcrushed\u201d on Wednesday, June 12, the 30-year-old Nickelodeon alum admitted that she was \u201cupset\u201d over the doc\u2019s revelations.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpecifically about our show, I think that was something that we were convinced was the cool thing about us \u2014 is that we pushed the envelope with our humor,\u201d Grande said, referring to <\/span>Victorious<\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Wicked<\/em> actress seemingly pointed out the sexual \u201cinnuendos\u201d that the <\/span>Investigation D<\/span>iscovery docuseries indicated in most of the TeenNick sitcoms, which included Zoey 101, Drake & Josh<\/em>\u00a0and several others.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd the innuendos were \u2026 it was, like, the cool differentiation,\u201d Grande added. \u201cAnd I don\u2019t know, I think it just all happened so quickly, and now looking back on some of the clips, I\u2019m like, \u2018Damn, really? Oh, s\u2013t\u2019 \u2026 and the things that weren\u2019t approved for the network were snuck onto, like, our website or whatever. I guess I\u2019m upset, yeah.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

While reflecting on her time working with her Victorious<\/em> co-stars Victoria Justice, Elizabeth Gillies, Avan Jogia, Leon Thomas III, Matt Bennett<\/strong> and <\/a>Daniella Monet,<\/strong> Ariana noted that they made \u201csome very special memories\u201d and added that they felt \u201cso privileged to be able to create those roles and become a part of something that was so special for a lot of young kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

In Quiet on Set<\/em>, former cast and crew members from Nickelodeon came forward with shocking accusations against ex producer Dan Schneider<\/strong><\/a>, who created almost all of the network\u2019s most popular sitcoms. In response to the backlash he faced from the docuseries, Schneider filed a lawsuit against the creators for defamation.<\/p>\n
