Rebel Wilson<\/a> <\/strong>revealed that she has not met her fianc\u00e9e Ramona Agruma\u2019s<\/a><\/strong> parents yet due to adversity faced as an LGBTQ+ couple. The actress shared her comments in the middle of Pride Month.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>I just think some people need a bit more time \u2014 and some people won\u2019t ever come around to it, and that\u2019s fine, and that\u2019s their decision,\u201d the 44-year-old said in an interview with Today<\/em><\/a> published on Tuesday, June 11. \u201cThere are still parts of the world that aren\u2019t as accepting.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cRamona was born in Latvia, and it\u2019s not as LGBTQ+-friendly as other countries are,\u201d she added.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Pitch Perfect <\/span><\/i>alum first met the 40-year-old fashion designer back in 2022 through a mutual friend and welcomed their daughter, Royce \u2013 which just so happens to be the \u201cicebreaker\u201d between both parties \u2013 via a surrogate. The soon-to-be-newlyweds then got engaged in February 2023 at the most magical place on earth, Disneyland. \u201cWe said YES ! Thank you to @tiffanyandco for the stunning ring and to Bob Igere and the incredible team at Disneyland 2disneyweddings for pulling off this magical surprise,\u201d Rebel captioned her announcement post on Instagram.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite not having met the Agruma family yet, Rebel revealed that in a couple of weeks, things may change during an upcoming Europe trip. \u201cI\u2019m really excited to meet them because I know they are very smart. Ramona\u2019s mother is a doctor,\u201d the Australian actress admitted.<\/span><\/p>\n

Their romance was publicly announced shortly after hearing that an Australian gossip reporter was going to \u201cspill the beans.\u201d Rebel shared to <\/span>PEOPLE<\/span><\/i><\/a> back in March, \u201cSome people in her family didn\u2019t quite know, and found out via the press\u2026I feel really lucky because from my side, I\u2019ve had literally not one negative reaction.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Rebel recalled her first date with the Lemon Vi Limon founder<\/span> stating, \u201cShe sets up our first date for a few hours after I land: lunch at the Hotel Bel-Air\u2026I\u2019m so nervous. I\u2019m also worried that if Ramona and I do hit it off, I don\u2019t have much sexual experience with a woman. And I\u2019ve only had time to read half of the <\/span>Girl Sex 101<\/span><\/i> book.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

During this date she recalled that instead of eating lunch, they went \u201cto the bathroom and make out.\u201d The rest is history.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
