Billy Ray Cyrus<\/strong><\/a> and Firerose<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s flame has burned out. The 62-year-old country music singer filed for divorce from his 35-year-old wife earlier this week following seven months of marriage, citing \u201cirreconcilable differences\u201d and \u201cinappropriate marital conduct,\u201d according to a new report.<\/p>\n

Per court documents obtained by E! News<\/em><\/a>, Billy Ray also requested an annulment on the grounds that \u201cconsent to marriage was obtained by fraud.\u201d His official date of separation from Firerose was listed as May 22, the outlet reported. Although it\u2019s still unclear what happened between the spouses, they haven\u2019t shared photos of one another to social media since April.<\/p>\n

That month, Firerose called her husband her \u201cbest friend\u201d and celebrated six months of marriage by sharing photos from their wedding.<\/p>\n

\u201c10\/10\/23 will always be the beautiful, joyous day that our two souls united as one in holy matrimony,\u201d Billy Ray wrote alongside snapshots of him and Firerose in wedding attire. \u201cIt was the most perfect, ethereal celebration of love we could have ever imagined. For both of us to hear the preacher say, \u2018Billy Ray and Firerose Cyrus\u2026 I now pronounce you husband and wife,\u2019 that was the sacred moment our new forever began.\u201d<\/p>\n

The now-estranged pair went public with their romance in August 2022. Earlier that year, he and his ex-wife, Tish Cyrus<\/strong><\/a>, split and divorced for good after having separated more than once during their 20-year marriage. For her part, Tish, 57, married her husband, Dominic Purcell<\/a>,<\/strong> in August 2023. She and Billy Ray share kids Miley<\/a>, Noah, Brandi, Trace<\/a><\/strong> and Braison Cyrus<\/strong> together.<\/p>\n

Billy Ray and Firerose\u2019s split comes amid rumored drama<\/a> in the Cyrus family. None of them has confirmed or denied the speculation. Less than a week before his divorce news surfaced, Billy Ray shared a sweet shout-out<\/a> to daughter Miley, 31, in an Instagram<\/a> post, gushing over how \u201cincredibly proud\u201d he is of her.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s a survivor and a true artist,\u201d he wrote about Miley in his caption alongside a throwback photo of the \u201cFlowers\u201d artist. \u201cShe learned early on to love and appreciate the fans who make everything possible.
