Bridgerton<\/em><\/a> star Nicola Coughlan<\/strong><\/a> isn\u2019t a stranger to risqu\u00e9 scenes, but after being told she was \u201cvery brave\u201d for baring her full body in the famous series,<\/a> the 37-year-old actress responded in a cheeky way. While speaking at a recent fan event in Dublin, fans captured Nicola\u2019s reaction to the comment in social media videos.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, I think it is hard because I think women with my body type \u2014 women with perfect breasts \u2014 we don\u2019t get to see ourselves on screen enough,\u201d the actress said before adding that she is a \u201cvery proud as a member of the perfect breasts community. I hope you enjoy seeing them!\u201d<\/p>\n

As she spoke, the audience laughed and applauded Nicola for her witty reaction.<\/p>\n

Upon seeing the now-viral video, fans praised Nicola for her response. One X user wrote, \u201cI LOVE HER. That\u2019s why she is the queen,\u201d whereas another tweeted, \u201cI LOVE HER SO MUCH AHAHHA [sic].\u201d<\/p>\n

This wasn\u2019t the first time that the Ireland native has discussed the sensual scenes she filmed for the popular Netflix show. Last month, Nicola revealed that she \u201cspecifically asked\u201d to be completely naked for one scene, which she explained during an interview with Stylist<\/em><\/a> in May.<\/p>\n

\u201cI specifically asked for certain lines and moments to be included,\u201d Nicola said. \u201cThere\u2019s one scene where I\u2019m very naked on camera, and that was my idea, my choice. It just felt like the biggest \u2018f**k you\u2019 to all the conversation surrounding my body; it was amazingly empowering.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adding that she \u201cfelt beautiful in the moment,\u201d Nicola \u2014 who plays Penelope Featherington in Bridgerton<\/em> \u2014 pointed out that at the time she filmed the scene in question, she thought, \u201cWhen I\u2019m 80, I want to look back on this and remember how f**king hot I looked!\u201d<\/p>\n

Aside from Bridgerton<\/em>, Nicola has also appeared in a variety of on-screen roles. Last year, she played Diplomat Barbie in Greta Gerwig<\/strong>\u2018s Barbie<\/em>, and she previously starred in Derry Girls<\/em>.
