The newlywed life has proven to be a sexy \u2014 and sometimes scary \u2014 life for Nick Viall<\/strong><\/a> and Natalie Joy<\/strong>. Four months after welcoming their first child, the couple revealed on the June 4 episode of \u201cThe Viall Files\u201d podcast<\/a> that they recently faced a pregnancy scare.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was just nauseous a couple of mornings in a row and I was throwing up,\u201d Natalie, 25, said. \u201cI thought I had a stomach bug. I talked to my mom about it and she asked if I was pregnant.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Natalie\u2019s initial thought was absolutely not, she also realized, \u201cWe did just get back from our honeymoon.\u201d After a sleepless night, she decided to take a pregnancy test.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were stressed, we were very nervous,\u201d Nick, 43, admitted. \u201cObviously, we\u2019ve talked about growing our family, but holy s**t. Forget about me being concerned \u2014 Natalie has been through so much and I was already thinking, \u2018Oh boy, I\u2019m going to be in so much trouble.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Natalie discovered she was not pregnant, she was reminded by some of the questions her doctor asked regarding birth control during a recent five-week checkup appointment. \u201cI\u2019ve never in my life been on birth control,\u201d Natalie said. \u201cThe doctor said, \u2018Either you need to use condoms or Nick has to be so insanely good at his pullout game.\u2019 I was like, \u2018I think he\u2019s pretty good.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Nick added, \u201cWe just got married. Condoms? No. I got this.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Natalie joked that she would be celibate going forward, Nick clarified that \u201cwe got our game on, game is on.\u201d<\/p>\n

Just last month, Natalie gushed over her new chapter of life as a mom. At the time, she called parenthood better than anything she would have ever expected.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s perfect,\u201d she told Morning Honey <\/i><\/a>in May. \u201cI couldn\u2019t have made or thought of a more perfect baby. She\u2019s everything I could have ever wanted. \u2026 She\u2019s going to know how to take over the world and I can\u2019t wait to see the woman she becomes. It\u2019s also going way too fast. How is she almost four months old? This is insane!\u201d<\/p>\n

As for her husband, Natalie had to give credit where credit is due to The Bachelor<\/em><\/a> star for stepping up. \u201cHe loves her just as much as I do, and I know he has the same intentions that I do,\u201d she said. \u201cHe\u2019s changed way more dirty diapers than I have! He jumps up in the middle of the night. He loves fatherhood, and it\u2019s so sweet to watch.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
