Jon Bon Jovi<\/a><\/strong> revealed that the note his high school sweetheart, Dorothea Hurley<\/a><\/strong>, left in his yearbook inspired one of his hits on <\/span>The Kelly Clarkson Show <\/span><\/i>on Wednesday, June 5. <\/span>\u201cJohn, write a sequal [sic] to \u2018Bobby\u2019s Girl\u2019 but name it \u2018She\u2019s Johnny\u2019s Now\u2026Love, Dot,\u201d read the note written by his wife.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the interview with Kelly Clarkson<\/strong><\/a>, the 62-year-old shared the backstory of the note written by the girl who sat next to him in history class and how it led to one of his popular song\u2019s \u201cBobby\u2019s Girl.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a song I had written called \u2018Bobby\u2019s Girl\u2026It was one of the first original songs I had written. She was dating my buddy Bobby. He went off to join the service as did my other two best friends\u2026They joined the Navy. And it was my senior year of high school, and I just fell in love,\u201d the rock star said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201cLivin\u2019 On a Prayer\u201d singer\u2019s recollection came shortly after infidelity speculations were made due to comments he made on <\/span>Thank You Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story, <\/span><\/i>his Hulu documentary.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not saying that there weren\u2019t 100 girls in my life\u2026I\u2019m Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good,\u201d he admitted. In addition to that comment, he told <\/span>The Independent<\/span><\/i>, \u201cThese are all the wonderful clich\u00e9s of rock stardom\u2026It\u2019s about never lying about having been a saint, but not being a fool enough to f**k up the home life, either.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Adding to that fuel, the \u201cYou Give Love a Bad Name\u201d singer joked on ABC\u2019s special <\/span>Halfway There,<\/span><\/i> \u201cI\u2019m a rock \u2018n\u2019 roll star, I\u2019m no saint.\u201d Jon even claimed that he \u201cgot away with murder.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

After the comments were made, Jon defended himself by saying, \u201cIf you think I was ever gonna jeopardize my anything for believing that the narcissist in me was real, what a stupid thing to do\u2026What kind of excess does a man need that\u2019s going to fuel that fire? It\u2019s just not worth it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite his choice of words, and Dorothea not attending the screening for his doc, the couple have been together since 1989, and are parents to Stephanie, Jesse, Jake, and Romeo<\/a><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
