Coach Adam Levine<\/strong><\/a> is back in the game. The Maroon 5<\/strong> lead singer is returning to The Voice<\/i><\/a> for season 27, NBC confirmed on Wednesday, June 5.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe OG is back in the building!\u201d Adam, 45, wrote via Instagram<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019M COMING BACK to #TheVoice next Spring 2025 \ud83c\udfa4\ud83c\udfb8\u270c\ufe0fCan\u2019t wait! V27 @nbcthevoice #TeamAdam.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cI\u2019m so excited. I cannot wait. I\u2019m well rested. I\u2019m ready to go. It\u2019s gonna be awesome. \u2026 Team Adam is back. I feel bad for other teams.\u201d<\/p>\n

Season 27 will mark Adam\u2019s highly anticipated comeback after he served as a coach for the first 16 seasons of the show and won three times. He ultimately stepped away from the show<\/a> in 2019 to focus on other projects.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am truly honored to have been a part of something I\u2019ll always cherish for the rest of my life,\u201d Adam said at the time of his exit. \u201cThank you to everyone who supported this long, strange and amazing left turn into a place I never thought I\u2019d go.\u201d<\/p>\n

He concluded his message by writing, \u201cTo all the loyal Voice<\/i> fans, there\u2019s literally no show without you guys. For me, it was time to move on. Your support has meant EVERYTHING.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adam reiterated his belief that it was time for a temporary change when he sat down with Howard Stern<\/strong><\/a> for a candid interview. \u201cI was ready to not be doing it anymore, I think for a little bit,\u201d he explained in 2019. \u201cI think that when it all kind of naturally happened, I was like, ok, it feels right. For better or worse, the moment in which we decided to walk away felt really good. It was the right time for me to go.\u201d<\/p>\n

For his big return, Adam won\u2019t be alone. NBC announced that the \u201cThis Love\u201d singer will reclaim his red chair alongside returning coaches Michael Bubl\u00e9<\/strong><\/a> and John Legend<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

In another big move, The Voice<\/i> will also welcome country singer Kelsea Ballerini<\/strong><\/a> to the coaching panel. \u201cFirst ever coach of the comeback stage, to an advisor, to a fill in, to AN OFFICIAL COACH ON THE VOICE SPRING 2025,\u201d the show announced via Instagram<\/a>. \u201cWelcome #TeamKelsea!\u201d<\/p>\n

The Voice <\/i>season 26 \u2013 featuring coaches Snoop Dogg<\/strong><\/a>, Reba McEntire<\/strong><\/a>, Gwen Stefani<\/strong><\/a> and Michael \u2013 is expected to premiere this fall on NBC. Viewers can stream past episodes on Peacock.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
