Ryan Anderson<\/strong><\/a> opened up about his estranged wife Gypsy Rose Blanchard<\/a><\/strong>\u2018s relationship with Ken Urker<\/a><\/strong> in an interview with<\/span> E! News <\/i><\/a>on Wednesday, June 5. <\/span>\u201cIt\u2019s hard to watch unfold in the public eye like that\u2026There were certain things that happened that really, really got me that really, really affected me,\u201d Ryan said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The matching tattoos that Ken and Gypsy, 32, got triggered Ryan, he said. \u201cThe matching tattoos really, really got me, that was one that really hurt\u2026It\u2019s hard to process\u2026It\u2019s permanent\u2026It\u2019s one of those things that you always look down and see, one of those things that you just can\u2019t erase,\u201d he admitted.<\/span><\/p>\n

During Gypsy\u2019s sentence for the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard<\/a><\/strong>, Ryan sent her a letter, which emotionally touched Gypsy. After falling in love, the two tied the knot in July 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Following her release from prison in December 2023, Gypsy and Ryan were able to embark on their journey as a married couple. However, Gypsy filed for divorce and a restraining order from Ryan in April.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the relationship\u2019s downfall, Ryan shared, \u201cIt\u2019s amazing to see the love and support I get, just being myself\u2026I\u2019m just a genuine person. I fell in love with Gypsy, that\u2019s the only thing about me. I\u2019m just a normal guy. So, it\u2019s cool to see the support.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair seemed to be facing difficulties in Gypsy\u2019s post-prison life. In the teaser of <\/span>Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup,<\/span><\/i> Gypsy and Ryan argued over her ex-fianc\u00e9, Ken.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI just think that I could be happier somewhere else\u201d Gypsy said to Ryan in a clip. \u201cSo call Ken, You\u2019re probably already talking to him anyway,\u201d he backfired.<\/span><\/p>\n

He recalled later on in the trailer for the show, \u201cHe\u2019s [Ken] trying to weasel his way back in because now Gypsy\u2019s out of prison.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The glimpse into the new docuseries gave more details on how Gypsy was considering going back to her ex. Toward the end of April, she confirmed her relationship with Ken after being snapped lip-locked at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBut I don\u2019t want to move too fast because, you know, I want to pace myself\u2026I don\u2019t want to put expectations and make things too heavy\u2026We\u2019re just basically enjoying our time together and, you know, hopeful for what the future has,\u201d she previously confessed to<\/span> Entertainment Tonight<\/span><\/i> that he <\/span>may be her soulmate<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
