Riley Keough<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s love for her late mother brought her to complete Lisa Marie Presley<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s memoir.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are honored to share the cover and title of this much-anticipated memoir. Born to an American myth and raised in the wilds of Graceland, Lisa Marie Presley tells her whole story in this one-of-a-kind memoir completed by her daughter, Riley Keough,\u201d shared the publishing house, Random House on X on Tuesday, June 4.<\/span><\/p>\n

Set to publish on October 15, the book named <\/span>From Here to the Great Unknown <\/span><\/i>received its name from the duet Lisa and her father, Elvis Presley<\/a><\/strong>, sang called \u201cWhere No One Stands Alone\u201d in the 2018 remastered version. Initially, the song was part of the \u201cJailhouse Rock\u201d singer\u2019s <\/span>How Great Thou Art <\/span><\/i>album.<\/span><\/p>\n

With the cover photo being a photograph of a young Lisa Marie sitting in front of her father, Riley \u2013 who became the next heir of Graceland, the \u2018King of Rock n\u2019 Roll\u2019s\u2019 home \u2013 had been working on the story three to four years prior to her mother\u2019s death. She shared that it felt for \u201cbittersweet\u201d for her to bring Lisa Marie closure.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just something that I felt I needed to do for her and help her complete that project\u2026It\u2019s very bittersweet and I\u2019m happy to do that for her\u2026It makes me feel very close to her,\u201d expressed the <\/span>Daisy Jones & The Six <\/span><\/i>star to <\/span>Variety<\/span><\/a><\/em>\u00a0in a previous interview.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This memoir sheds light on Elvis\u2019 daughter just seven months after Lisa\u2019s passing from complications due to a weight loss surgery she had several years ago. The Presley family also lose another family member aside from both the heir and Elvis in 2020. Lisa\u2019s son Benjamin Keough<\/a><\/strong> died by suicide at the age of 27 which is said to have let her with a \u201cbroken soul.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the announcement of the book, Elvis\u2019 granddaughter admitted to Vanity Fair<\/em> that after her mother\u2019s passing, the days were grey. \u201cEverything felt like the carpet had been ripped out and the floor had melted from under us. Everyone was in a bit of a panic to understand how we move forward,\u201d voiced Riley in a previous interview.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
