Brittany Cartwright<\/strong><\/a> is keeping it real with Jax Taylor<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0During the Tuesday, June 4, season finale of The Valley<\/em><\/a>, Brittany, 35, shined a light on why she chose to distance herself from her husband after four years of marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cWho just lies for attention? He does,\u201d Brittany said in a confessional interview. \u201cI\u2019ve come into my own. I make a lot of money and I just feel like I have woken up. I feel so much stronger now. I know I\u2019ll be okay because I know my worth and I know I don\u2019t deserve to be in a relationship like this. What was I thinking staying with him this long?\u201d<\/p>\n

One lie that Jax, 44, was caught in was whether or not he was following Brittany\u2019s request to go to therapy.<\/p>\n

\u201cJax has been saying that he\u2019s gonna go to therapy for years now,\u201d she said in another confessional. \u201cThe day before we pick cameras back up, he all of a sudden has an appointment to go see the doctor. This is all a front. This is what he wants everyone to see and believe that he\u2019s actually gonna do these things to change. I bet you money he will not do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jax later confessed on camera that he called to make an appointment, but didn\u2019t go because he was afraid and \u201cit was really far\u201d away.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy haven\u2019t you done anything? Why haven\u2019t you changed?\u201d Brittany said while holding back tears. \u201cYou screamed at me, said horrible things to me. That I had no friends here. That nobody liked me here.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Valley<\/em> costars Kristen Doute<\/strong><\/a> and Zack Whickham<\/strong> backed up Brittney\u2019s claims in a separate scene. While filming for the Bravo show, the pair recounted the insults Jax threw at his wife during their relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cDoes he say, \u2018I know I treat you like s**t?’\u201d Kristen, 41, asked. \u201c\u2018I know I\u2019m mean. I know I\u2019ve called you fat and I\u2019ve told you you\u2019re f**king lazy and that you\u2019re not going to have any friends if you guys break up?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Brittany replied, \u201cThat was one of the main things. Him saying I have no friends here in L.A.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Jax and Brittany have yet to file for divorce, the pair are not living together. Brittany was also spotted<\/a> on June 1 without her wedding ring on.<\/p>\n

The Valley<\/i> is currently streaming past episodes on Peacock.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
