James Corden<\/a><\/strong> was recognized as a \u201ctrue gentleman\u201d during an emergency landing in a flight from Portugal to London. <\/span>\u201cJames was not the only person who was upset about the flight. He was nothing but a true gentleman to other passengers. James spoke to everyone and spent time with them,\u201d a source told <\/span>Entertainment Tonight<\/span><\/i><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Despite the turbulence, the former <\/span>Late Late Show <\/span><\/i>host remained as kind as can be with guests aboard. \u201cHe took selfies with people and chatted with them to kill the time. It was chaotic and a traumatic experience for many, but the crew and flight crew were helpful in this distressing time,\u201d the insider told <\/span>ET<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n After the flight crew took on the rescheduled flight the next day, it was reported that the 45-year-old allowed women and children to skip in front of him, and Vanessa recalled him as a \u201clovely guy\u201d for his actions.<\/span><\/p>\n The forced landing took place in Lisbon after a mechanical issue was discovered. \u201cIt was something along the lines of, \u2018Gather your possessions as best you can, take off your shoes, and when you\u2019re told to by the airplane staff, please adopt the brace position and when we land if you\u2019re able, please find your nearest emergency exit and vacate the plane,’\u201d shared a passenger named Vanessa to <\/span>Metro.<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/p>\n These comments come shortly after the <\/span>Emoji Movie<\/span><\/i> actor was accused of behaving rudely at a New York restaurant. Owner of Balthazar, Keith McNally<\/a><\/strong>, claimed that James was an \u201cabusive customer.\u201d After Keith\u2019s claim was made, James shared, <\/span>\u201cBecause I didn\u2019t shout or scream, I didn\u2019t get up out of my seat, I didn\u2019t call anyone names or use derogatory language, I\u2019ve been walking around thinking that I haven\u2019t done anything wrong\u2026But the truth is I have made a rude, rude comment. And it was wrong. It was an unnecessary comment, it was ungracious to the server.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n He later added, \u201c[I told him] how upset I was that anybody was hurt by anything that I had done and anything that I had said and we had a good talk\u2026He appreciated the call. I was happy that we got to clear the air.
