Olivia Munn<\/a><\/strong> revealed she felt \u201cdevastated\u201d after undergoing a double masectomy during the latest episode of <\/span>SHE MD<\/span><\/i> podcast.<\/span>\u201cI thought, \u2018Oh, there are so many styles, so many things that I\u2019ll never be able to wear\u2026It just looked like someone took off my breasts and then took some tape and paper and stuff and Tupperware, and they\u2019re like, \u2018Here,\u2019\u201d expressed the 43-year-old.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI was by myself in my bathroom, and I looked at them and I cried in a way that I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve ever cried in my life. I cried\u2026I was devastated. I didn\u2019t recognize myself. I didn\u2019t know how I would ever dress myself again,\u201d shared the actress.<\/span><\/p>\n

After breast tissue was removed, she received \u201csmall and chick\u201d implants to fill in the skin after specifying to the nurse that she did not want big breasts because it would \u201clook like a boob job.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to be able to hide the scars\u2026I want to be able to hide the sides of the implant and feel comfortable like that. Maybe one day I\u2019ll get more comfortable with it,\u201d Olivia said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite being diagnosed with stage 1 aggressive Luminal B breast cancer in March, her first thought went to her son Malcom<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 whom she shares with John Mulaney<\/a><\/strong>. \u201cIf I didn\u2019t make it, I wanted my son when he got older to know that I fought to be here\u2026That I tried my best,\u201d Olivia previously told <\/span>Good Morning America<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Though she is in a current state of battle, she revealed that she hopes to welcome another little one into the world after freezing her eggs. \u201cWe just really hope it works out for us to be able to have another baby\u2026We just want one more. I\u2019m not gonna ask for too much more in this life, I promise. I just want one more baby,\u201d the New Girl\u00a0<\/em>actress said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>X-Men <\/span><\/i>star reiterated the importance of family when it comes to her life.\u201dThe most important thing to me in life is my family\u2026Everything else can go away. I don\u2019t have my career, I don\u2019t have my body the way that it looked before, but as long as the people I love and care about are here and healthy and thriving, nothing else matters,\u201d she added.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
