Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>may have already dropped the song of the summer with \u201cEspresso,\u201d but she may have a contender for album of the summer when she puts out her upcoming record\u00a0Short n\u2019 Sweet<\/em> in a few months. The popstar, 25, has made headlines with her performances opening for\u00a0Taylor Swift\u00a0<\/strong>on the \u201cEras Tour,\u201d slaying at Coachella, and her romance with\u00a0Barry Keoghan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Now with the upcoming album, many fans will surely be tuning in to hear Sabrina\u2019s new tunes.\u00a0Hollywood Life\u00a0<\/strong>has all of the details about the new Sabrina Carpenter record for you here!<\/p>\n

When Does \u2018Short n\u2019 Sweet\u2019 Come Out?<\/h2>\n

Sabrina announced the album title and release date on Monday, June 3. She also shared the cover artwork, which depicts her with a deep red lipstick mark on her back against a blue background. The other side of the record appears to have a shot of her from behind with a tattoo that has the album\u2019s title.<\/p>\n

While it may be a little late to dominate the entire summer, Sabrina announced that\u00a0Short n\u2019 Sweet\u00a0<\/em>will be available everywhere on August 23.<\/p>\n

What Songs Are on \u2018Short n\u2019 Sweet\u2019?<\/h2>\n

Sabrina has yet to release a full tracklist for\u00a0Short n\u2019 Sweet,\u00a0<\/em>but it\u2019s been revealed that \u201cEspresso\u201d is the lead single. The \u201cNonsense\u201d singer has also teased that she\u2019ll be releasing a second single on Thursday, June 6. \u201cI also have a surprise coming for you on thursday night so keep an eye out,\u201d she teased.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear if there will be more singles ahead of the album\u2019s release.<\/p>\n

What Has Sabrina Said About the New Album?<\/h2>\n

Sabrina has mostly kept details about the new album to herself, but in the announcement, she did share how much she was looking forward to the fans hearing it. \u201cThis project is quite special to me and i hope it\u2019ll be something special to you too,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

Following the success of \u201cEspresso,\u201d Sabrina opened up about the process writing it in an interview on\u00a0Zane Lowe\u2019s\u00a0<\/strong>Apple Music show. \u201cFrom start to finish, I think that\u2019s why you can kind of feel how fun it is. And I think for me, there was something really exciting about the fact that there was so much personality throughout the entire song, because those are the ones that are really, really fun to sing live with a crowd,\u201d she said, via\u00a0Us Weekly.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
