Shanna Moakler<\/a> <\/strong>confessed that she used to have \u201ccompetition\u201d with her former husband, Travis Barker,<\/a><\/strong> over who the better parent was during a recent interview on SiriusXM\u2019s<\/span> \u201cJeff Lewis Live.\u201d \u201cBut I gave up, I was never really trying to compete. I gave that up a long time ago\u2026I was like, \u2018You win. Like you\u2019re the winner,\u201d claimed the 49-year-old.<\/span><\/p>\n

The two first got married in 2004 and welcomed<\/span> Landon<\/a><\/strong> in 2003, Alabama Barker<\/a> <\/strong>in 2005, and cared for Atiana De La Hoya <\/strong><\/a>\u2014 whom Shanna shared with ex Oscar De La Hoya<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a topic that I don\u2019t think a lot of people have really scratched the surface on and really have a clear understanding and it happens to both men and women. Both mothers and fathers,\u201d she said on the episode.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Shanna went on to acknowledge that the Blink-182 member is a \u201cvery powerful famous person,\u201d which made it difficult to get up to his level. \u201cI think it really comes from like when you\u2019re dealing with like a narcissist or you\u2019re dealing with a controlling personality,\u201d Shanna expressed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite their split, Shanna shared that the two still prioritize co-parenting. \u201cWe co-parent, you know if there\u2019s any issues with our kids\u2026 that\u2019s one thing we\u2019ll communicate but otherwise, we don\u2019t really have a friendship,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAt the end of the day, whether the public and the media can say whatever they want to say about me as a person or decisions I\u2019ve made, my relationships when it comes to me as a mother I don\u2019t give five f***ks what anyone says or thinks. I only care about my children, my relationship with my children,\u201d Shanna added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aside from her past marriage, Shanna also shared her emotions towards her ex-partner and Kourtney Kardashian<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s marriage.\u00a0<\/span>Although she\u2019s previously voiced her disinterest in the now-married couple, she told Jeff that she was \u201chappy\u201d the two for birthing their baby boy, Rocky, and that she even congratulated him.\u201cI\u2019m happy for him\u2014 He\u2019s in a good place. The kids love the new baby Rocky\u2026 You know my daughter\u2019s obsessed with him and sends me cute pictures and stuff.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

This wasn\u2019t the first time that Shanna has spoken out about Travis and Kourtney\u2019s relationship. During a previous podcast episode of \u201cMiss Understood with Rachel Uchitel,\u201d Shanna said, \u201cI really don\u2019t have anything positive to say about it\u2026It\u2019s not because I\u2019m bitter, and I\u2019m definitely not jealous.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
