The Real Housewives of Dubai<\/em><\/a>\u2019s Caroline Stanbury<\/strong> wants to be honest about her weight loss journey. In the May 22 episode of her \u201cUncut & Uncensored With Caroline Stanbury\u201d podcast<\/a>, the Bravo star said she used Ozempic during a \u201cmidlife crisis<\/a>\u201d she experienced at 45.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter 40, we all know it\u2019s very, very hard to lose weight. But I met so many 40-year-old women going, \u2018How have you done it?\u2019 And I don\u2019t want to lie to you,\u201d Caroline, 48, said on her podcast. \u201cI used Ozempic, which I think is one of the best tools if you\u2019re able to use it. What did Kate Moss<\/strong><\/a> say? \u2018Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.\u2019 There\u2019s something to be said for that.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Caroline didn\u2019t reveal how much weight she lost, the Bust the Label founder said, \u201cI know what I was before and I\u2019m truly happy now.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her latest podcast episode, Caroline was joined by her husband, Sergio Carrallo<\/strong><\/a>. While discussing health and wellness, the soccer player said he believes his wife has found her balance.\u201cWe try to maintain the balance,\u201d he added. \u201cIf we have a big dinner we try to just fast a little bit until breakfast.\u201d<\/p>\n

Caroline replied, \u201cSergio is an eater and he doesn\u2019t like to eat on his own. I don\u2019t need as much food as Sergio.\u201d<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time Caroline has shared her experience using Ozempic. In September 2023, she admitted to using the drug after her IVF process made her \u201cblow up.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI did it to lose weight from a treatment,\u201d she explained on her podcast<\/a>. \u201cThat wasn\u2019t natural for my body to get me to exactly where I was before. I don\u2019t think anyone should be shamed for that. This is a way to get your life back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Ozempic has helped many lose weight, the type 2 diabetes prescription drug has been approved by the FDA<\/a> to lower blood sugar levels. Ozempic is also approved to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke or death in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus and known heart disease.<\/p>\n
