The Geekbench database now contains a test result from a European unit (SM-F956B) too and it’s still using the Snapdragon.

Leaks have suggested that the cheaper Galaxy Z Fold FE will use a mix of Snapdragon and Exynos chips. Will it be the only RAM option like on the Z Fold5? It might be, we haven’t seen any evidence of a 16GB model yet. That said, the cheaper Z Fold FE is also expected to offer 12GB of RAM, so the flagship model might need a higher capacity option to maintain its premium status.

As for software, there isn’t much to say – the Galaxy Z Fold6 will launch with One UI 6.1 (or possibly 6.1.1) on top of Android 14 and should receive 7 years of support just like the S24 series.

PS. the scores from the US and European Galaxy Z Fold6 units are different, but that doesn’t mean much when looking at pre-release units (and we don’t even know whether they were run at Light performance mode or not).

Source

[ad_2]

Source link

[ad_1] We’ve seen a couple of benchmark results from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 so far with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 at the helm

[165
