Shakira<\/strong><\/a> reportedly has a new man in her life, and it\u2019s Lucien Laviscount<\/strong> from Emily in Paris<\/em><\/a>! Neither the pop singer nor the actor has publicly confirmed the reports, but he starred in Shakira\u2019s steamy \u201cPunter\u00eda\u201d<\/a> music video, and two have been spotted hanging out since then. Naturally, fans are dying to know more about Shakira\u2019s rumored flame.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> <\/a>reported on Wednesday, April 10, that the \u201cHips Don\u2019t Lie\u2019 hitmaker and the actor are \u201ccasually\u201d dating, but nothing is serious at the moment.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s casually seeing him,\u201d a source told the publication, adding that their \u201cchemistry started\u201d on the set of the \u201cPunter\u00eda\u201d music video earlier this year. Days after the video aired in March, the two were seen spending time together<\/a> in New York City following Shakira\u2019s surprise performance in Times Square at the time.<\/p>\n

A separate insider added to the outlet, \u201cShakira and Lucien have a light playful thing going on \u2014 and he\u2019s very into her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Daily Mail<\/em> <\/a>also reported that the two are seeing one another, with a source telling the outlet earlier this month, \u201cShakira is desperate to fall in love, but her friends are concerned because Lucien has slowly crept his way up the celebrity ladder while dating women who were all less famous than Shakira.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source also alleged that the \u201cwomen [Lucien] has been with are all very different. Now he is seeing Shakira, and she wants love. But her friends fear he just wants people to know his name and she provides that. They are seeing each other but are not heavily involved yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

Previously, Shakira was with Gerard Piqu\u00e9<\/strong><\/a> for more than a decade<\/a> until they split<\/a> in mid-2022. The \u201cWaka Waka\u201d artist and the athlete, 37, share sons Milan and Sasha together. At the time their split was announced, Gerard faced backlash over rumors that he cheated on Shakira with his current girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti<\/strong><\/a>. However, the rumors were never confirmed.<\/p>\n

As for Shakira, she opened up about her and Gerard\u2019s former long-term relationship during an interview with The Sunday Times<\/em> in March.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor a long time I put my career on hold, to be next to Gerard, so he could play football,\u201d Shakira told the publication. \u201cThere was a lot of sacrifice for love.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for Lucien, he reportedly dated a few A-list stars, including actress Keke Palmer<\/strong><\/a> in the past.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
