During his final days, O.J. Simpson<\/strong><\/a> was surrounded by his family. All of the late ex-football player\u2019s children<\/a> \u2014 including the two he shared with ex-wife Nicole Brown<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 visited their father before he died<\/a> earlier this week, according to a new report.<\/p>\n

TMZ<\/em><\/a> reported that visitors had to sign NDAs upon seeing the 76-year-old at home and could not bring in their phones. Those who came over included family, friends and medical professionals. The outlet also reported that a doctor checked O.J. days before he died and informed everyone around him that he was dying. Four of his five children in total surrounded him, according to the outlet: Sydney<\/strong> and Justin<\/strong><\/a>, whom he shared with Nicole, and Jason<\/strong> and Arnelle<\/strong><\/a>, whom he shared with ex Marguerite Whitley<\/strong>. O.J.\u2019s last child with Marguerite, Aaren<\/strong><\/a>, died when she was just 1 years old in 1979 after an accidental drowning.<\/p>\n

In addition to his inner circle, the outlet reported that \u201cdozens of friends\u201d went to say their goodbyes to O.J.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, April 11, O.J.\u2019s adult children announced their late father\u2019s death via X (formerly known as Twitter).<\/p>\n

\u201cOn April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer,\u201d they wrote in the statement. \u201cHe was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace.\u201d<\/p>\n

O.J. had been battling prostate cancer<\/a>. Earlier this year, he reportedly insisted that his health was \u201cgood\u201d via a social media post.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you to all the people who reached out to me. My health is good,\u201d O.J. said in a video. \u201cObviously, I\u2019m dealing with some issues, but I think I\u2019m just about over it, and I\u2019ll be back on that golf course hopefully in a couple of weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n

In February, rumors surfaced claiming that he was in hospice care, but the former athlete shut down the reports by sharing a separate social media video.<\/p>\n

\u201cHospice? You talking about hospice?\u201d he asked. \u201cNo, I\u2019m not in any hospice. I don\u2019t know who put that out there. But whoever put that out there \u2014 I guess it\u2019s like the Donald say(s): can\u2019t trust the media! \u2026 In any event, I\u2019m hosting a ton of friends for the Super Bowl here in Las Vegas. All is well. So. hey, guys. Take care, have a good Super Bowl weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
