Lauren Sanchez<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s trip to Washington D.C. wasn\u2019t complete without one fabulous outfit. The former journalist joined fianc\u00e9 Jeff Bezos<\/strong><\/a> at the White House for a state dinner on April 10.<\/p>\n

Lauren, 54, chose a sizzling red gown from Rasario that featured a plunging neckline adorned with lace. She completed her look \u2013 styled by Kelly Johnson<\/strong> \u2013 with a pair of Gianvito Rossi Flavia pumps.<\/p>\n

Hairstylist Olivia Halpin<\/strong> perfected Lauren\u2019s hair and teased a shorter cut via Instagram Stories when she wrote, \u201cWe did a thing.\u201d The final style allowed fashion lovers to have a view of Lauren\u2019s diamond earrings.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow it started\u2026how it ended,\u201d Lauren wrote via Instagram<\/a> on April 10 when showcasing her look. \u201cSuch a beautiful evening in DC. Can\u2019t wait to show you more tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n

The black-tie event was in honor of Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kishida<\/strong>\u2019s official state visit.<\/p>\n

Other guests in attendance included Robert De Niro<\/strong><\/a> and his girlfriend Tiffany Che<\/strong>, Apple CEO Tim Cook<\/strong> and Japanese American Olympic medalists Kristi Yamaguchi<\/strong>, Alex Shubitani<\/strong> and Maia Shibutani<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Jeff, 60, and Lauren have been together since 2019. The pair got engaged four years later and are currently planning their dream wedding.<\/p>\n

In a rare interview with The Wall Street Journal<\/i><\/a>, Lauren provided a glimpse into what makes her relationship with the Amazon founder work.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the greatest experience I\u2019ve ever had,\u201d she shared in January 2023. \u201cI\u2019ve always had a career very separate from my partner. We love to be together and we love to work together. He\u2019s helping me with the book. He\u2019s getting his pilot\u2019s license. We fly together. We work out together. We\u2019re together all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n

While both Lauren and Jeff have children from previous relationships, the duo have found a way to create a happy, blended family.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn a typical Saturday, we hang out, we have dinner with the kids, which is always fun because you never know where the conversation is going to go with this many kids,\u201d she said. \u201cWe are the Brady Bunch!\u201d<\/p>\n

As for what Jeff admires most about his partner, it has to be her generosity.<\/p>\n

\u201cLauren is the most generous, most big-hearted person that you would ever meet,\u201d Jeff gushed to CNN<\/a> in November 2022. \u201cShe is an inspiration in that way at every level. She is generous with somebody she just meets, she\u2019s generous with every person and she\u2019s generous in the large too.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
