Local sources revealed Foxconn assembled nearly 67% of the total, with 17% more manufactured by Pegatron in the twelve-month period ending in March 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The remaining units were made in Wistron&#8217;s plant in Karnataka state, which was recently acquired by Tata Group.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"303\" src=\"https:\/\/fdn.gsmarena.com\/imgroot\/news\/23\/11\/apple-tata-wistron-deal\/inline\/-1200\/gsmarena_001.jpg\" alt=\"One of every seven iPhones is now made in India\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Government officials said the growth in iPhone manufacturing has created 150,000 direct jobs.
