The game relies on time survival mechanics, featuring minimalistic gameplay and rogue elements \u2013 features that appear to be built upon in League of Legends\u2019 summer update.<\/p>\n<p>In the video detailing the work currently underway on <a href=\"https:\/\/readwrite.com\/here-are-the-highest-paying-e-sports-games-of-all-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">League of Legends<\/a>, Riot Games\u00a0developer Selina Liu described the upcoming PVE mode as a \u201cbullet heaven survivor PVE game mode\u201d. That certainly echoes the trigger-happy vibe of Vampire Survivors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019ll be able to fight against hordes of enemies by yourself or with friends\u201d, developer Eduordo Cortejoso added. \u201cI know a lot of us, myself included, have some pretty fond memories of previous PVE modes like Odyssey or Star Guardian, this time we wanted to make something markedly different\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>With Vampire Survivors being such a massive hit over the last couple of years, this isn\u2019t the first game to take inspiration from other franchises, such as the recent Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor. Riot Games plans to release more details in a written dev blog next week.
