We\u2019ve all fallen victim to our own overthinking when in a relationship, even\u00a0Gwen Stefani<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>has. The popstar, 54, opened up about her insecurities in a new issue of\u00a0Nylon\u00a0<\/em>magazine, published on Tuesday, April 9. Gwen admitted that those insecurities have even taken up time in her relationship and marriage to country star\u00a0Blake Shelton<\/strong>,<\/a> 47. In the piece, she opened up about the divorce rumors and put them to rest, speaking about how much she loves Blake.<\/p>\n

Gwen opened up about about how past insecurities had come up in their relationship. \u201cIn my own relationship, even though I know the truth of what\u2019s happening today, you still create drama in your own mind about your insecurities and what might happen. I was in that phase of the relationship with Blake and getting paranoid,\u201d she told the magazine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The singer admitted that some of the things that she was \u201cquestioning\u201d were about whether she was \u201cgetting older\u201d or if she was \u201ccute.\u201d Blake explained that they speak frankly about the \u201cinsecurities\u201d they\u2019re worried about.\u00a0\u201cThese are conversations that she and I have with each other: \u2018Are you still going to love me when I\u2019m old or if I forget who I am?\u2019\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Gwen continued and said that even though she\u2019s \u201coverthinking,\u201d she\u2019s still \u201cin love with my best friend.\u201d She has no issues with Blake, and she addressed divorce rumors. \u201cBut when you\u2019re in love and have truly aligned values, nobody can get to us. You can say whatever you want to say about our relationship \u2014 I mean, a week ago we were getting divorced again or something,\u201d she told the outlet. \u201cIt\u2019s just lies. The truth is the truth, and we know what that is. And so that [negativity] would never penetrate just by me being vulnerable and sharing a song [\u201cPurple Irises\u201d] that I didn\u2019t write for anybody else but myself and Blake.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blake and Gwen have been married since 2021. They first started dating in 2015, as the two of them had been working as coaches on\u00a0The Voice.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
