We\u2019re going to be seeing a lot of\u00a0Ryan Seacrest<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Vanna White<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>together very soon, but before Ryan, 49, steps into his new job as the host of\u00a0Wheel of Fortune,<\/em> Vanna, 67, stopped in to see him as the host of\u00a0American Idol\u00a0<\/em>on Monday, April 8. While\u00a0Idol\u00a0<\/em>took over Disney\u2019s Aulani resort for performances on the beach, Ryan revealed that his future co-host had joined him. \u201cLook who\u2019s joining us on the beach, a national treasure, Vanna White,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

As he spoke to Vanna in front of a crowd, Ryan asked what her reaction is to seeing\u00a0American Idol\u00a0<\/em>performances live in person. \u201cI am so enjoying this. There\u2019s so many talented people here, I cannot believe it is so much fun,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Ryan then gave fans a taste of what it\u2019ll be like when he and Vanna are co-hosting\u00a0Wheel of Fortune\u00a0<\/em>together. \u201cI\u2019m so excited to get to work with you and thought maybe we could work together right now. So would you like to help me with the next finalist introduction?\u201d he said, before a series of fans held up letters to announce the next finalist performing.<\/p>\n

Vanna showed that she was over the moon to get to experience\u00a0American Idol\u00a0<\/em>firsthand. \u201cWhat an incredible experience getting to appear on a show I\u2019ve been watching since the beginning! I\u2019m such a big fan. Thank you @americanidol & @ryanseacrest,\u201d she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Ryan also shared a few photos of him and Vanna at the taping, and promised that it was a \u201cglimpse of wheely exciting things to come\u201d for them together. \u201cThe TV crossover you didn\u2019t know you needed. Look out for the legendary [Vanna White] on [American Idol<\/em>],\u201d he wrote in the caption.<\/p>\n

Longtime host Pat Sajak<\/strong> <\/a>announced that he\u2019d be retiring from\u00a0Wheel of Fortune\u00a0<\/em>after the current season ends in June. Ryan will step up as the new host beginning in September 2024.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
