Tori Spelling<\/strong> <\/a>is getting candid about the final battle<\/a> that led to her and Dean McDermott<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s split. During the latest episode of her \u201cMisspelling\u201d podcast, the 50-year-old actress admitted to throwing her \u201cprized possession\u201d in the heat of the moment: a baked potato.<\/p>\n

\u201cI took my most prized possession in that moment \u2014 my baked potato was loaded to perfection \u2014 and I smashed it on the ground,\u201d Tori confessed during the Monday, April 8, episode. \u201cI\u2019ve never seen a baked potato fly like that. Let me just say it was a wall-to-wall potato. It was on the floor, it was on the oven, it was everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on to describe what she was thinking at the time the argument took place, which was in June 2023. Tori also pointed out that she and Dean, 57, hadn\u2019t slept in together \u201cfor three years\u201d at that point in their marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was like, \u2018Oh s**t, that was too far. Look what I just did, I\u2019ve dirtied the kitchen,\u2019\u201d Tori said. \u201cSo, I then went and locked myself in our bedroom \u2014 our bedroom: me and the kids \u2014 \u2019cause Dean and I didn\u2019t sleep together for three years. Different bedrooms.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tori and Dean\u2019s altercation happened on the same day that the Canada native shared \u2014 then quickly deleted \u2014 an Instagram post announcing their split<\/a>, which was something that Tori said Dean \u201cthreatened\u201d to do \u201ca million times.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think I\u2019ve ever threatened that ever, and there were times where I desperately wanted it, but I would never throw that in someone\u2019s face if I didn\u2019t actually mean it,\u201d the Beverly Hills, 90210<\/em> alum added. \u201cI thought it was another fight.\u201d She also mentioned that her now-estranged husband was \u201cfired up\u201d in the moment.<\/p>\n

Although the pair separated at the time, Tori didn\u2019t file for divorce<\/a> from Dean until last month. In March, she and Dean were photographed in Los Angeles at a Public Storage facility, seemingly sorting through their belongings. Days later, she filed for divorce, citing \u201cirreconcilable differences.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tori and Dean share kids Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn and Beau<\/a> together. In her divorce filing, the mother of five reportedly requested for joint legal custody of the children and sole physical custody with visitation for Dean. Additionally, Tori wants Dean to pay her legal fees.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
